The update that I was hoping to never give is here. Tucker passed away in the middle of the night tonight. He passed knowing how loved he is by his family and friends and with a visitor list a mile long. Thank you to everyone who supported him and our family through this difficult journey through texts, donations, volunteer work, love, and prayers. Tucker loved his community, and it was so meaningful for him to see how much you all loved him back. Funeral arrangements are in the works and will be announced in a later post.

  3. Tuck, you have touched so many lives. I will miss you forever and ever. Thank you for being the absolute shiznit. I have always been jealous of your smarts, wit, and passion. You fly high Mr, and that’s an order. Love ya tuck.

  4. RIP Tucker… you gave so much so selfishlessly… God called you home… “Well done my good and faithful servant”… you were not only my son in law and embraced member of our family, you were an inspiration to many and a lifesaver… Rev says “Charrrrrr min”

  5. There really aren’t words. I’m so incredibly sorry – Tucker is a true hero and he will be missed in this community.

  6. I had just checked in here during the night to see if there were any updates and none to see. That Godwink time prompted prayer then…posted to my prayer groups on this sad news…Please pray for Shell Lake Fire, Washburn and N.E. WI counties and their 911, fire, and law enforcement families, our fellow amateur radio operators, medical teams who ministered to him, and Tucker’s family and friends. This young man gave so much to his communities through work, volunteering, and time and talent. He fought a long, difficult battle of cancer in his young life with great dignity and integrity. Tucker, your mentorship and example will live on in the lives you have touched. Silent Key for you as you are healed to perfection in God’s arms. (Shelly – 911 dispatcher, retired and amateur radio operator KD9GIY mentored at SimCom through Tucker’s leadership for the exercise)

  7. In addition… Blessed Heavenly birthday to you, Tucker. May today be a day to celebrate your earthly life as you start your forever one.

  8. A huge loss to Shell Lake and a huge loss of one of my favorite Fire students. Rest easy Tucker, you fought a brave battle, and I’ll miss having you in my classes! Dan Roeglin Northwood Tech Fire Service Manager

  10. Rest peacefully Tucker. I didn’t know him in person, but he was a great internet friend. We made friends by both being on nightshift as 911 dispatchers. I live in Colorado. We could always count on keeping each other awake for those long shifts. I hope his family finds comfort. I know he brought so much joy to his family and many local departments. ❤️ 🙏
