We started out Day 5 with another quality IHOP breakfast….delivered again. I could really get used to this kind of life. Reality will be setting in again soon…we fly back on Monday 😩. After breakfast, we got ready for the day and decided on going to the Aquatica water park. Today is such a perfect day for it! I purchased online tickets for the park and parking. We got showered and headed over there to find…the whole park at capacity and closed for any new drive ins. We were unable to find ANY parking close by and walking would have been miles. What a HUGE disappointment. We headed back to the hotel room where I sat on hold for a half hour trying to reschedule our tickets to Sunday. After a half hour, I pressed the option to have them call me back…they never did. Kyley found another number for them and we were able to get through and get our reservation changed to Sunday. Apparently, you have to get there early so we’ll be waking up early Sunday so we can actually enjoy the water park. Bummed out and sunscreened up, we decided to hit the resort pool. We were down there for a few hours when the clouds rolled in and a little rain started. We headed back to the room and found a dinner spot, Yard House. It was in the tourist part of Orlando and traffic was HORRIBLE but it was worth it. I had a BBQ bacon burger and Kyley had truffle Mac and Cheese. From there, we headed over to Top Golf! Ky had always wanted to play it and I have been interested in it as well. We had a reservation at 8pm and it was a tour hour slot. Boy did we ever have fun!! I beat Kyley in the straight up “hit the ball the furthest” game, but they had other virtual games like Angry Birds and Jewel….she seemed to excel and kick my butt at those. It was a blast! We’re off to bed because tomorrow….well….tomorrow we have to be somewhere at a certain time. More details in tomorrow’s post 😉
