Day 3 of Orlando was a good mixture of relaxation….and shopping, well, it was relaxing in the afternoon. We started out with breakfast from a place called Keke’s and some Starbucks coffee. We both had stuffed french toast and it was pretty trash. They also forgot our toast! Oh well, you live and learn…besides, I love trying new places even though you may get burned by them. Before we ate though, we came back to our apartment and found ourselves locked out!! Both keycards failed to open the door. In my 15 seconds of troubleshooting, I determined the battery to the card reader built into the door was dead. We had to wait for security/maintenance to arrive to plug the magic power box into the door, open it, and then change the battery. I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty hangry at this point and our food was getting cold. After the battery change and breakfast, we decided to relax in the room for a bit. It was cloudy and there was a strong storm cell moving our way so just chilled in our room until it passed. Ky ended up falling asleep so I just watched some TV and chilled. After the morning storm passed, it was still cloudy so we ended up going to Orlando Outlet Marketplace. It’s basically an outside mall with a lot of the major mall stores being outlets with deeply discounted goods. I picked up some clothes, a “travel” HydroFlask, and some more swim stuff. Ky faired better than me with more clothes that she found. We’re gonna need another suitcase for the plane after everything we got…we were at 48lbs at MSP! It was nice to do shopping but, being an outdoor mall, that’s a lot of walking for me! You guys know how much I love to work out. We did get slushies and some snacks from Wetzels Pretzels and the slushies were much needed. Florida is also going through a little heatwave, highs are around 95F which is close to their average but the humidity right now makes it feel closer to 105-110F outside. I can’t believe how much water I’ve been actually drinking here compared to home. I’m sure the cancer docs will be happy to hear that I’m actually drinking more water.

By the time we were done at the mall, it was approx 20:00 and the typical afternoon Florida storms were moving in so we scurried back to our place. We decided on using Uber Eats tonight since Kyley has that already from her various travelling around the world. We ended up getting some really good pasta from Maggiano’s Little Italy. It totally made up for the crappy breakfast this morning. That about wraps up Day 3…as for tomorrow? I’m thinking it’s time to hit that pool again.
